I have talked with several body men and they are split 50/50 on whether to use weld thru primer went putting on new rear qtrs. Does anyone here have any experience and or opinion? I have the old qtrs out and ground down the area and I am ready to put the new ones back on. HOWEVER I did not get any weld thru primer. will I be ok without it?

    thanks

i used weld through on my car when i did the quarters about, 7 years ago and i havent seen even a hint of rust coming through a all. i would also recommend glueing the the wheel well area and door jamb seams instead of welding them it seals and fights rust at the same time ..mike :TU:

Id use it or something. Freshly welded metal rust fast.
