If the answer is yes and I know it is then make sure you donate at least some money to keep this thing going. It is not cheep to have the bandwidth consuption I am sure this site does. I know none of us want this site to go away. I check the site and there are 7,000+ members but less then a 100 people who have given money in 2004. Lets give a littel green to keep this site in the black and everyone happy. All the modirators have done an excellent job. Good work gang. I did give $50.00 earlier this year. Thanks for bringing that up Mark. Aside from JW, Jim can correct me, I would say 10 people or less each year out of 7000 provide 90% of the money to keep it up and running. Then there are the volunteers who behind the scenes provide the the tech expertise (Bucy) and thankless yet so important moderation function (too many to name). This requires a tremendous donation of time.
visa card? I just love the page. I'll be checking out "new post" at least once a day. Very informative. In fact much of the reason my 68 Riv is up and running is due to this site. Same here. In 2002 & 2003 I made $20.00 donations but my name isn't on the list. I really don't care though, I didn't do it for the notoriety. Need to do something this year yet though. Thanks for the reminder.
Dale, Sorry for your ommision on the lists, it was my new years resolution for '04 to make sure I kept that list better.. was doing fine until we had the big crash, and I lost everything.. the current list was made from the names I could recall, and from those who contacted me, as I requested that they do so, if there name should be on that list. I am sure there should be a few more names on that list, maybe a dozen or so. And Jim is correct, it's a small minority that pay for all our fun here, but I have always said that TSP would pay for the whole deal if it had to, so I am happy that guys like him have jumped in and helped out. If I was only out to make money in my professional life.. I wouldn't be in the Buick business, that's for sure.. Profit margins are pretty small, compared to the rest of the world.. Again, thanks to all who have contributed over the last few years, it's much appreciated, and made it much easier to spend a whole bunch of money here, when we had to upgrade the board. JW
