Wait until I finish growing back the mullet and reenact that photo with Lord Vader this summer.

As of this morning, Ken told me he was waiting on counter offers.

Is the market that bad that this thing isn't going to sell?

If this car had nice original paint and a nicer condition interior the price in the listing would be justified. It's not nice enough to use in it's present condition. It would have to be restored to really be full awesomeness. That is my personal opinion. The 75/10 car I had was keyed also, and the drivers door was the worst hit also.. Kind of a strange comparison.. Mad women at work...

Yes Don. Excellent recall sir. Don't forget the green check box for upper peak moldings & tach with gauges.

My preference would be 15" with pies and G-60's, but since the dealer could swap that out in 15 minutes or less, that really doesn't count too much.

Have you priced good paint jobs lately? Also, not knowing how well the work was done when the quarter panel was replaced is another reason I would need to see the car before paying that much.

Exactly my opinion about the paint, its not original so why not fix it ? And so myself I would have to value it accordingly and realistically. I'm sure the seller is an educated Buick guy and has priced some wiggle room into so he may be on point.

I’ve got some insider info. Actually someone contacted him with an offer as many on eBay do. It was stated he’s been offered 40k and hasn't taken it yet. We most likely won’t know because once he gets his price it fall off eBay.

Up to this point, that's yet to be divulged.

I talked to Ken and the car did in fact sell. Money has traded hands. I don't know if the man is a member of this board as I didn't recognize his name. I was asked by ken not to share the mans name as he is a private man. As far as price goes Ken had some very strong and good offers but what he ended up getting for it I don't know.

Ryan - According to the eBay ad, it sold for $45k.

Brett - will the car be restored or kept as is? Would love to see it freshly painted with a new interior...

That's a good question. I haven't heard from Ken since last week when he told me he wanted to wait for an ok from the new owner before revealing where it ended up.

My sense tells me it will get its just due. I mean, how could it not? Hell, I'd give it a good cleaning and drive it for a season but that's just me. That color combo is great!

Whoever bought that is lucky they won't have to hunt down any Stage 1 stuff. I don't recall seeing a more complete car for sale in a long time.

Welcome to the board John and congratulations on your purchase. You own one very rare GS Stage 1. Are you planing on doing anything to it or just enjoy it as it is ?

Congrats John. Very nice car, I wanted it badly but couldn’t justify it without having proper storage. Hope you enjoy it.

This car will get a complete correct rest in a few years , just going to have some fun with it , I have been into buicks for 30 plus years I paid up for this car but it's what I wanted, can't say enough good things about ken very upstanding and honest.
