I fell into the oppourtunity to purchase a GS parts car cheap. I need seats, dash and a few other parts. Are any parts interchangeable from I belive he said a 68 hardtop GS to a 69 Skylark convert. If I can't use anything I will see if I can get info to those that can. I am going to try to see the car tomorrow. Thanks again for everyones help.
Most major parts will interchange between a 68 and 69. If you put buckets in a bench seat car you will need the floor mounts for the buckets as well. Trim and vent windows are the main difference, fenders, hood, trunk, etc. will (not be correct, but) will bolt on.
68 seats are very different from 69 seats. The seat frames, locking hardware, seat backs, and lack of headrests are obvious differences. The only thing you can say is they will bolt in the car, other then that , they are different. Duane
