This weeks Buick @ the salvage-yard-buffet is this '71 Skylark 4dr/ht. :kodak: The place is close by (at the halfway point of my workday commute) so I will be making a return visit there before the week is over. The scavengers have already pretty much ravaged the whole interior down to the hanging harness. but the 350/4v & t-350 are still there. The trunk lid had the lock punched out and rot has started at the bottom of the opposite quarter. It's a drum brake car that has P/S & AC with a non posi 10-bolt. The remote mirror needs replating; it 'aint pitted but the finish just isn't there in places along the upper portion. The core support might look decent enough for some of you that are residing throughout the rust-belt regions and have to work with something far worse. I yanked the #7041544MH (dated 0131) Q-jet carb along with all the little items that attach to it plus the bumper jack hook. The prices are all over the map - the carb was fifty and the 'bracket' was only two bucks. uzzled: Speak up quickly if you are in need of anything that is shippable because the place is all to quick to rotate the decent stock for some late model POS that they leave out for a few months (which hardly gets touched).
Hello, unless I am missing something, the pics show that core support looks pretty good; true & how much do they want for it?
