I know its been discust many times, but does anyone know how many kind (if more than one) of DOG DISH (not full hubcap or mag/rally wheel) were produce for the buick gs from 1970-72??And the steel wheel they were put on, are they one of a kind 'buick steel wheel' or there are other way to get them???

Is this the style of Dod dish your after? If so, I see these on the board occasionally for sale, also on E-bay. As for 15" rims, you can use the mid to late 80's 15x7"s off the full size Chev's (Caprice and Impala). They have the same centre "humps" for the dish to snap onto. Hope this helps. Jim

Marc, I think this style of dog dish hub caps were avalible on the 70-72 cars. But I may be wrong. I think I have a few extra somewhere that are of driver quality if interested, I'll take a look.

I check stockton on their site, and what are the wheels that you ordered from them, they seem to not have steel wheel for our cars??? (15x8 with 4.75 bolts spacing)???

Here ya go Marc, just call them and tell them you you want stock steel OEM wheels 15x8 on 4.75 bolt pattern with whatever backspacing you want. A 4.5" backspace is stock. I'll hunt around this week for the dogs. I think there's a set on the board right now for a good price.

Marc, the centre caps you show in this link are NOT the style I have on mine.
Those particular hubs/cap are like the Chevy style Ralley wheel. The difference being that the Ralley style like above snap in on the inside of the humps on the wheel. The style on mine, the cap/dish snaps over/outside on the humps. The ones you show interest in the "parts" section are the style I have.

Yes. If you look close at the pics you'll see the difference.

i had a tough time locating a set of 4.75" center rims locally. i got a set of original buick ones about 18 months ago from gene & stephanie brown in oklahoma. i think their phone # 580-476-2543. try them, they were reasonable on price and nice to deal with.
