Poverty Caps are the coolest! My 455 will be sporting the same combo when it is finished. Here is a little bit more inspiration.

I'm putting a set on my Apollo this Spring. If I powder coat the wheels, will caps still fit?

Are the wheel always body color?

Hey David, I think I saw in the assembly manual someplace the only color not painted on the wheels of dogdish- equipped cars was white (black in that case)

my full wheelcover (volcano caps, ugh..) '70 skylark in Burnished saddle had the original wheels
in black hiding under those 'ornaments'......

don't know about the thickness of the powdercoating--- good question.

My Bugundy Mist Stage 1 project was a blackwall/dogdish car according to the build sheet- going to at least paint the spare to match, already have widened Ralleys on hand for the rear thou.... Two sets of rolling stock maybe???????
