Love dogs. I'm with whoever said they didn't trust people that didn't like dogs. This is Mac, a 2-year-old, 50lb certified rescue mutt of 44% beagle, 12% Great Pyrenees, 11% Aussie, 9% border collie and lesser percentages of everything else. He only sheds twice a year, January through June and July through December. We've had him just over a year. Unfortunately, he doesn't enjoy car rides but he's been to Florida a few times. He is too smart for his own good. We used to use child safety gates but he figured out he could jump them. The second pic is of him on the wrong side, acting innocent.
Aw. Barrett found me at the pound when he was 8 months olds as well. They picked me out of four other people.

For some reason, after Windows did an automatic "update", the computer just stuffs pictures wherever it wants and I can't locate them except for dumb luck. I have been meaning to have a computer guy take a look to see if whatever happened can be undone. I have the feeling that this thread will be around for a while, so if I can get things squared away in a reasonable amount of time, I will post them.

that is absolutely great Larry! My dog went absolutely bunkers for a whole day when I came home from my 120 days rehab. Walks everyday since
A brief history of some dogs: When my mom was a teenager, found a stray, named her Kasha. She had puppies, one was kept and named Jamoca. When I was around 9, my grandfather found a stray at the park, named her Shaina. She had puppies (born the day Desert Storm started). We kept one, Bruiser, and my aunt kept one, Daisy. Here in this picture are Jamoca, Bruiser on the right, Daisy on the left. Here is Bruiser about 6-7 years later Here is my wife's and I Dachshund, Cupid aka Chubby, this was probably 10ish years ago before we lost him to kidney failure. Chloe is beside him. Here is Chloe at 16, 18 and then 18 1/2 about a week before we had to put her down.
Worst part about having an animal, when you have to put them down, rescued 2 separately and both had to be put down with in 5 years I had them, both were older. But then you get new one from shelter and give em a new life.
That’s for sure. I cried like a baby. But will always hold them in my arms while passing. Worst part is, I should have always done it sooner so as not to have them suffer so much… but that’s me being selfish
