I would like to install a set of late model, flush style door handles on my skylark vs. the stock chrome ones. I know this will require some cutting & welding and fabrication to the locking mechanisms in the door. Anyone have any experience doing this or have pics of this they could provide? I've attached a pic of the handle on my accord to help give an ide of the style/type of look I'm going for but it obviously doesn't have to be that specific one. Anything similar that may work best.
Why not just shave the door handles all together? You are going to make a lot of work for yourself...those flush door handles use rods and pivots to operate the latch....don't know if you will have enough in the door to clear the glass.
