my 69 lark has what was i guess tan interior with gold loop carpet.. The bottom fo the dor panels have the same carpet. Nw if i'm to buy a molded carpet kit , wouldn't I also have to buy extra material of the same type to replace the strips on the bottom of the door panels? As far as I can tell theese are the original panels and still in excellent shape other than the bottom portino with the carpet starting to fray and wear .. I really don't want to buy new panels.. Is there enough excess in theese kits to repair the doors?
Most places that sell the floor carpets also sell the same carpet by the yard also. However, it would have been best to get it at the same time to ensure from same lot number. But it should still be reasonably close.
