DOOR seam PUDDY,,,yes

    GUYS there is some kind of puddy on the inside seam/////whats the best way to handle rust under it ??? I know i have to remove it etc but what are the steps?? what works best wire brush??then what??? and do you suggest going back with this puddy////where can i get it thanks upfront for the info

    It's seam sealer. You can get it off with a clean and strip wheel from 3M if you have a die grinder or a drill, or you can scrape it off. You can get both the wheel and seam sealer most places that sell paint supplies, and yes I would re apply it. Yo can get it in a calking tube or it also comes in tape form. Tape type is newer, so if you are looking to go OEM look, dont use the tape. It usually has to be applied over primer, not bare metal, and it's paintable

    I also pour POR 15 paint inside all my used doors and let it roll around and run out the seams. That way the door can't continue to rust from the inside out. It works for the lower fender area behind the bracing too. After it dries then deal withe the external rust.
