Mickey Thompson Drag Radials are the choice of many street/track GS/GN/Riv owners.

It all depends on how much street driving you do. Last pair I had lasted about 2 years worth of weekend driving.

275/60/15s fit our GS/GN/Rivs on stock rims without rubbing. At $200 per tire they aint cheap.

They grab like Velcro on the street or track. My GN loves them !!!

I had 275/60-15 Nitto on my 72 for awhile. They are a bit harder rubber than the MTs, but they hooked fine for me.

I was running a nitroused 350 12.9@104 at the track, I think I ran 22 lbs pressure in them at the track.

They were fine on the road.

    MT drag radials here. 275 60 15s on A body cars & 255 60 15s on G body cars.

Note that on the MT website there were many new tread & compound versions released in both a bias & radial style. Read carefully before you order.

I do have a pair of the M&H Racemaster drag radials in 245 55 15 for my G body Olds that I am going to try when the track opens this spring. I have heard good things about them but I know you can not go wrong with the MT.

I've been running the BFG 235/60R15 (or something like that, pretty narrow on a 7" wide rim) Drag Radials on my Skylark. Other than being told I should be running a true slick with the manual transmission they are noticeably stickier than regular tires, on both the track and street. I've driven on them between tracks on three Drag Week's and haven't had any issues. 35psi on the street and ~18psi on the track. I still have a lot of launching, 60ft, and suspension work to do (particularly with the manual transmission), but my best time is 12.554 with a 1.901 60ft. Probably get about 3,000 miles out of set with a light burn out from the water box and 25-30 passes or so.

Heavy front wheels and the sway bar is hooked up.

I run MT 325/50R15 drag radials. Great tires as long as it's not raining. And be prepared if you heat them up on the street showing off. It'll sound like a hailstorm on your rear quarters as they will pick up EVERYTHING for the next ten minutes that's on the street.

while not 15's, I run M&H drag radials on my Camaro, that is almost 90% street driven and occasional track time. Very very happy with em. It's also street driven close to 50% of the time in the rain, with no problems as long as you respect it. 390 x 17, 28 inches tall. Wear has been excellent, I have over 4000 miles on current set and they only now need replacing. That's with multiple track days with burnouts. They heat up nicely. I had to drop air pressure to about 14 pounds to get em to hook, but that's likely got more to do with the fact I left the suspension is street mode (pretty stiff) and the 632 BBC up front putting down a lot of torque (over 800nm)

Silver Buick, see in the third picture you ran the Crusty Nova, out of Springfield MO, or it looks like it, if this the car, it belongs to a shop owner of a friend of mines, son, good running LS with twin turbo. Thanks Bill.

Yup! That's the "famous" Crusty Nova and these photo's are from last year's (2015) Drag Week. Safe to say he left me in the dust, lol.

That was the pass that my crank trigger wheel came loose, otherwise I would of had him!!! :pp

What size you looking for ? I have a set I was using but had to go down a size since I lowered the car.

Have a pair of 295/65R-15 sitting in my garage.

I had to drop down to 275/55r-15s.

    Thumbs up to that.

I did a small burn out in Bowling Green one night and the next morning I had to hear the little rocks all the way of of the parking lot.

I have been running M&H RACE MASTER DRAG RADIAL 325/45/17 on my 900HP challenger. I have not had it at the track but they seem to hook good. Never been out in the rain so I cannot tell you how they handle the rain.
