His car n his choice. It’s expensive regardless how built and he did a great job.
Hopefully he gets lots of laps of enjoyment.
    That’s what’s important.

Just remember that "dragzine" and "dragazine" cover two completely different subjects, so be careful about your spelling.o_O

Love the car, hate the power plant.Buick power. My friend Dave here was at the GS nationals with his 535 CI Buick aluminum block and so far he has gone a best of 8.24. With a little more suspension work,he should be able to go into the 7's.Scotty Guadagno went 7.60 at Englishtown in 1993,with S-4 heads.Bruno.

Thanks guys! I knew I would take a beating about the motor, but cash dictates how the build goes. When I blow up the motor who knows it could be a stroked big block buick! I had originally planned for a Buick motor, had the block but I got a good deal on the BB Chevy 540!

I have no issue with your choice of a powerplant...
It is truly a remarkable build.
Just expressing my choice if I were to win the lottery...dats all.

    GS Kubisch THE "CUT-UP" BUICK

    That car is beautifully crafted.

I have no problem with the engine at selection at the targeted level of performance. Hell...I'm getting more kickback on my Tomahawk not being much of a Buick anyway. I would've been power ahead with a Dart block. (And would've better understood the criticism for the corporate choice.)

My only critique would be to stay with US made products when available. Much better choices than that Eagle stuff in my opinion.

    No need for negativity.
Our car community is shrinking fast. Especially drag racing which I do love and wish I could do more often.

Build them as you see fit and can afford.

I race my 1970 Chevelle SS396 car. At
cecil and atco (double build sheet, pop, and more paperwork). No clone. Just rusty and ready.
And people think it’s nuts cause collectibility.

GS Kubish, I don’t understand how anyone could be negative on your tomahawk build. Amazing car like the psycho lark.
Raceem and enjoyem as you see fit while we still can.
