checked on this one 55inches center to center 400 trans on a 12 bolt rear is it best to have it made or does anyone have one for sale thanks mark
Mark, ive got an aftermarket shaft from a 69 skylark that was a th350 and 12 bolt rear. it measures 55 1/2 center to center.

I just had my driveshaft cut down and dynamically balanced by a local shop. They did an EXCELLENT job, leaving it show-quality--almost too nice to go in my beater. All I needed to supply was the dimension from the tail splines of the trans to the machined part of the 12 bolt's yoke. For my '66 it was 61.5", resulting in a 58" center to center dimension on my new driveshaft. I'm sure they would ship as he wanted to be 'the premier driveshaft shop' on the east coast.
