   i have a sbb350 w a 2004r trans and an 8.2 rear in my 72 skylark
   when i put my 8.5 in will i need to shorten the dline or will it be ok
   it is the stock driveline from the 8.2 and th350 setup

   In general, it may need to be shortened about 1/2" or so, but it would be foolish to do that without measuring first. Install the drive shaft and check first.
