    Hi just a (last) update:

The equivalent of 400$, new u-joints and a balanced driveshaft later no vibrations anymore, had her reeving up to 100mph without no problems...well no, actually one: Now the car is so quiet in the upper rpm`s that I actually hear a little whining from my new 3.73 out back, but not too much. Damn classic cars, always something....I`ll better get a new Volkswagen 1.4 Eco-Hybrid.

    Thanks for your help!

Sure, get one of the new cars but just use it as a daily driver! Nothing compares to horsepower and torque down low!

Hope you get rid of it soon, these vibrations suck!
My daily driver is a VW microbus, a love boogie van, no torque, lots of style and groovy feeling! No chance I`ll get a new "computer-on-wheels"...not yet!

Gone gone gone! As this is a forum, I thought you guys should know about the progress. It was a pair of torn engine mounts, the rubber was straight through on both sides...think 40 years must have been too much finally. Replaced and muuuuch better.

    Thanks for your help
