dual exhausts

    did not know exactly where to enter this thread but i figured that since the exhaust attaches to the engine, i would ask my question here .
    on dual exhausts on a gs 350 , for the correct mufflers fitting , is the muffler inlet of each muffler offset towards the driveshaft & is the outlet on each muffler offset towards the frame ?
    the shop manual diagrams appear this way but i know mine are not & are probably incorrect .

    Gerry,
    Inlets are closer to the driveshaft, outlets are closer to the frame on my Stage1. Like this.
