    Hey Guys;
    I have put a dual master cyl. on my 65 GS but I am not sure that I have done it right. I understand that the rear brake line is supposed to hook up0 with the front side of the m/c. and the rear side of the m/c goes to the front brakes. The part I am not sure about is the brake pedal rod. and what kind of hook up I need between the m/c and the frame. I just want the stock set up in other words not any thing exotic. I still have the drum brakes.

    Doc,

    Do you have manual or power brakes? The push rod is a different length. Be sure your m\c is for drum brakes and not disc because there is a check valve in the drum brake setup. I always thought (front - front and rear - rear).

    They are power brakes, I have 2 rods. What happened was, I went into auto zone and ordered a rebuilt p/b booster and master cyl. for a 66 skylark GS with drum brakes.
    So I have to redo the brake lines and get the correct rod in. But the thing seems to be up at too much of an angle from level. [the mastercyl & booster.]
    i have to get it right because I live up on a steep hill and if it doesnt work right the first time it will be bad.
