OK so I have one oil guage[X] under the hood getting pressure from the front of the motor I have another [Z]in the car getting pressure from the back of the motor. In order to look out for oil pressure /bearing problems the readings between the two guages should be X[15pd at idle] and Z [10pd at idle] for sake of question.If Z showed a cuntinued drop in pressure would this show sometype of wear going on? Is this a good rule of thumb with everything being equal.
