Hi everyone, I have a set of Dura-Bond camshaft bearings for sale. These are for a Buick 455, and are the standard size. They are BRAND NEW and in the box. I never even touched them with my hands because when I had my engine built, another set was installed at the shop. SOLD...THANK YOU! Thanks!:beer
I will take first dips on this. They should fit my 68 400 motor, right? are they hardened or something or just bone stock? Jan
Jan, Here is a description I found for them. So Yes I believe they will work in a 400 Motor with no problem.... Set of Durabond cam bearings for Buick 350-400-430-455 1967-1981. Durabond's seamless, 100% machined surface design provides the tightest tolerances in the industry. The centerless ground OD and centerless bored ID result in wall variations of .0004 in., giving the customer increased system design flexibility. Dura-Bond bimetal bearings are constructed from a seamless steel tube with a thin layer of lead based babbitt material. Lead based babbit provides ideal properties for nearly all engine applications. Babbitt's superior embedability, conformability, and anti-seizure characteristics have proven to reduce engine failures that harder bearing materials can cause. They are yours for $25 shipped if you would like them. Thanks!:beer
