Today I bought a 56 Century and the guy told me that the transmission is out and that it's a dynaflow. What I want to know is if it is a bad trans, what year model dynaflows can I replace it with or should I just try to find someone to rebuild it? Thanks

I have more specifics to my question if anyone can help. Will a 1963 Riviera dynaflow fit into a 56?

For information on the Dynaflow, I would ask here: http://forums.aaca.org/ubbthreads.php

I know you get an answer there. Very few people on this BB would be able to answer your question. The few times I've seen questions concerning the Dynaflow, I've not seen any answers. Hope that helps. Let us know how you make out.

Thanks for the link. I'll see what I can find.
