Hey gang, In the Classic Buicks thread, I had a thread going about a noise my car is making when it starts. In that thread I had a really really poor quality video of the noise: (At the very end, sounds like a power saw) Thought I might post it here too to get more exposure. http://www.v8buick.com/showthread.php?p=1260594#post1260594 I was advised by a few members that a whine is normal for a Dynaflow when the car is running in Park. I also found the Dynaflow literature on AgentBudd's site which also said some whine was normal. My question is, from the poor quality video, does my whine sound normal, or is to too loud and indiciating a problem? I'm worried that if I assume it's normal and run the engine, I will further damage the trans to the point where it becomes a boat anchor. But if it is normal, I'll never move forward on the project! Thanks for any advice.
