Hit the dyno for a quick tune up and decided to make a full pull on it as well. Can't thank Brandon Decordre enough and Bobb Makley for lending some parts so I can make it to b.g. This was all the boost but we will turn it down to race. The suspension will not handle it. Swapping gears and need a new torque converter as well. Almost 30 percent slippage. Got to fix that before we break something. John jr
John, I still have a converter from Ultimate if it will help. I'm sure it would need to be reworked, but I am not doing anything with it. Make me an offer if you might want to use it. I can bring it with me Sunday.
I sent my converter back to Montgomery at ultimate last fall.got it back in 3 weeks. Didn't have a problem except for trying to call him. Email works better.
Not to get too far off the op thread........crazy great numbers laid down, can't wait to hear how it runs. But is Lenny not the guy at ultimate anymore????
Hes destroyed more converters sent back to him than he's built. Noone in the stock, super stock, etc classes use him. He's by far not Lenny. Lenny took his money and never looked back. Ask around.
Lenny sold the business to Montgomery about 3 maybe 4 years ago. Lenny tried to teach him a lifetime of knowledge in short period. Lenny is long gone
Just thought I would offer. It's laying around doing nothing. Maybe I'll ask John to bring it to BG for me, and I'll try to sell it.
