Hi, I got two 1971-style center caps that don`t fit anymore, parts of the clips came off and now they don`t hold up anymore. Any easy yet clever fix for this issue? Jens
I would buy new retaining clips. You say 71 style? I assume these are the silver centered caps. I think the clips are held on with four screws from the back on these. Others where peened on and more difficult to repair.

I purchased several used centre caps that had good clips. I removed those clips after drilling (drill press) out the peens. I had to then drill my centre caps (purchased new medallions) and installed the used clips with very small screws.

The caps I need have the red centers. I have some of the style that you offer, but they have very faded centers.
