I am looking to convert the front power drums on my 65 Special to power disc on front leaving drums in the rear. Therre are some kits available on ebay that claim to come with everything needed. I know I need the new master as mine is for four wheel drum brakes so I am looking at the power disc conversion which would include the master, booster, prop valve, etc. I can get the "complete" kits for about $600.00 from a couple vendors. My question is, has anybody used 60 to 0 brake systems or DEPENDONAUTO? The item numbers are 8074354839, and 140090315413. Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated.
i was looking at the dependonauto rear disc convernions myself but i want slotted and zinc coated rotors. you should ask if their front kit uses metric g body calipers and rotors thats what the pic shows i have a gbody and the calipers are dirt cheap so its not that great of a deal but aleast you get plenty of new parts
I bought a kit from Matt's Classic Bowties. I'm very happy with the parts and the service provided by Matt. Harvey
