    Hey all,

Looking for any info from anybody running this particular intake (Edelbrock). I know zero about intakes and don't want to pick it up just to turn around and sell it again. Can I use it with a stock carb? And how does the choke hook up? Does anybody use it and like/dislike it? I've seen more than one way to choke a 455.

Also, since I know zero about intakes (I've never had to take it off) is there anything special I need to do or is it a simple matter of take off old one slap on new one with gasket?

Hey, Trevor. I replied to your similar message on the ROA message board/e-mail. Putting on the Edelbrock intake is just the same as putting on the stock intake, if I remember correctly. (Help me out here, 455 gurus!) I did this about six years ago right after I graduated high school, so I don't remember too much about it. Only a Buick-nut would spend all of his graduation money on a major tune-up, new intake and carb for his Riv'!...haha. I hope this helps some. Good luck!!
