Is there a Performer 4bbl intake for a Buick 350? I want a dual plane intake.

    Thanks.

All of the aftermarket alum. intakes for the Buick 350" are dual planes - TA's and Postons.

The TA Stage 1 350" intake is a proven "performer"!!:Brow: :TU: Plan on a 25-35 hp improvement over stock!!

I doubt if Edelbrock will ever have any plans of making a Buick 350" intake. They are well aware of the TA (and Poston) intakes.

    Thanks Scott!

I did that "assume" thing for the TA since the BB SP1 is single plane. More money to Mike and Co.. ok-by-me.

How much taller is the T/A or Poston intake compared to a stock intake? I have the stock fresh air intake and would like to keep that on the car.

I have the T/A 212 cam and the rest stock, would I see a difference in performance with either of these intakes? Or would I need to go to headers as well?

    Thanks

TA catalog says it will clear the hood with the stock air cleaner.

    Dan,

Hows that 212 Cam work for you? Did you change valve springs or do head work? I'm in the market for a cam over the winter.

Dan - The TA212 cam sounds pretty good. If you do a search, you should find a sound file posted by Mike Atwood - nice lope to it.:bglasses: :TU:

Consider upgrading the springs a must!! Headwork will only increase the size of the smile on your face!!!:Brow:  Not to mention, lower your ET.:TU:

I like the T/A 212 alot so far but I am just getting the combo running right. Recent changes included getting John Osborne to rebuild my Q-Jet and distributor - was running an Edelbrock 750 and a stock distributor advance curve. Also had the tranny rebuilt and put in a Jim Burek 2200 stall converter. The combo really perked up! I have 3.23 gears and I really think it needs something lower but it will scald the hides pretty good right now.

I am running a stock valve train and the only change to the heads were to have hardened seats installed. This car is only going to be a cruiser and will never be raced. Will there be much benefit in a T/A intake if the heads are going to be unmodified and exhaust left stock?

    Thanks,
    Dan
