Emergency Brake Assembly Differences - Plant Specific?

    I've seen 2 different styles: one has the handle riveted to the inside of the mechanism (1st picture) and the other assembly utilizes a small round clip that pushes on to the release handle from the "outside" of the unit.

    The first picture is an Fremont 11D '69 GS and the second is from my 12D Flint car.

    Has anyone seen a different style and would these be specific to the plants they were installed in?

    Not sure. Mines like the top one. It’s From a 70GS stage 1 Flint built 01D but automatic console car.

    I just noticed the pedal lever on yours (and the one in the first picture I posted) has a bend in it. Mine is straight.

    Mine is the bottom one you pictured .

    Three 4 speed cars have the straight pedal one...

    The assembly manual shows the straight lever pedal but 2 different part numbers. Chassis manual as well but no part numbers.

    I'd post a picture but it's kinda smudged.
