    Working on this Car, wonder Size and year.
    My book say 350" 1970.

    You have to stop providing so much information!
    Heck I don’t even need my crystal ball to guide me!

    what I can make out from your photos is that a square bore carb is sitting on a adapter to get it bolted down to what must be a 1967 and up Q-jet ( spread bore ) intake manifold.

    You’ve given too much information here!

    from what I can make out from your photos that’s a square bore carb sitting on a adapter to get it bolted to a 1967 to 1974 intake manifold which is made for a Q-jet/ spread bore carb.

    Looking at the information and pictures, I think it is an early smog motor since the power steering pump has the smog bracket on it. The timing marks indicate it is an earlier than later 350 and the pulleys tell me it is a non-AC motor.

    Did you check the numbers on the block between the head humps? Those remove a lot of mystery real quick.

    I don’t know about it being a smog motor?
    Is there a EGR valve on it, or a block off plate where it use to be?
