I bought a GS 340, it's body tag says it's a 340. But the engine code makes it a 300. I know on the left front of the engine block under the power steering bracket should have some numbers. Should these match the last 6 of the vin tag on the door jam. If it doesn't than this would confirm and engine change. Cause it really looks like the original engine to me at this time. It is a clean car with 85,000 miles. Also, where are some casting dates to be found at on a 300???? Thanks
