Dupli-Color CHB102 Semi-Gloss Black is great paint. This part number is in their Hi-Build Fleet Coating line and sprays nicely and lays down beautifully right from the can. It is listed as a high solids enamel. Not sure what sizes you have in the U.S., but in Canada it comes in a 439 gram can and costs $23.00 per can.

    Hope this helps

I did the frame rails and floor pans on an El Camino with a Dupli-Color semi flat, it is between flat and semi-gloss. So far I haven't been able to find it anywhere but it is a very good look if still available. I did that car some 20 years ago and it still looks good.

I like zero rust. Not a epoxy, but most all of my undercarriage is painted with that.

For painting floors, you can likely get away with applying the primer/paint with a roller or brush. That gives you more options as far as good paint.
x2 on the Zero Rust, it's a good product. Kinda like POR-15 replacement.

Zero Rust says it coats new metal too. Do you guys use a primer or just degrease any new/non-rusty metal?

Looking at a few dealers for Zero Rust the black color is back ordered on all of them including Zero Rust’s own web site

The Autobody Store shut down his forum sites due to cost. He moved to discord, but I have not been able to sign in there.

I guess I need to consider any cans I have as an investment now.

Max Damage I'm working on it!

I usually do a wipe down with Picklex, if I am using the Zero Rust paint. This combo does seem to be pretty tough and durable. This has mostly been on rusty stuff not new metal.

The Picklex has become stupidly expensive though.
