'69 GS. Owner thinks it's not bad. All I see is a few tasty parts. Those parts pulled me into a first bid. If you outbid me to part this beauty out, I'd like first crack at the dashpad. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...0559372197&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK:MEWAX:IT
" At the end of the description i say CAR BAD, what i meant to say Carpet bad. Car is not bad at all." LIAR....
"125k on the motor and wont try to start, sat to long to taker a chance at messing anything up."
Brian, I may be interested in a couple of things like the hood and some trim if you get it. Let me know if you get it. R we going back to the steak place in BG this year? Maybe Lindsay Lohan still works there. :beers2:
May favorite line from Mr. Magoo Motors: "...undercarrage is not bad and frame is solid as i can see..."
I have a nice '68-69 non ac Black Dash pad for sale that i was about to post to the parts for sale section. The only issue i have with it is that it does not fit a car I own. Would also trade for a nice '70 ac black dash pad or '69 Pontiac Firefird gold dash pad. Email me if interested: goose19702@gmail.com dave
I'm amazed this thing sold for $2400. Not that it doesn't have alot of great parts, but 2400?? You could probably get that back out of it in parts but as a whole car I would have to pass. I mean when the rear bumper rusts off, I'm out.
Ken- 350. Interior, engine pics. Hood is dented, engine is questionable, trim looks dingy. Grille maybe? 24-hundred-freakin-dollars. WTF?
me thinks it will be relistedo No: buyer is probably oversees and wants to send him $8000 for the car and have him western union him the difference to cover shipping:laugh: ive parted out better cars than that.
You maybe right. He may have gotten caught up in a scam. I just checked the dude's other items, and he had 119 of them, so you'd think he'd know his way around the 'net. Wait until that new "owner-to-be" gets a good look at what he's bargained for. Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder could probably smell the rust, it's so bad. We'll all have to keep an eye out and see if this rig surfaces again.
If I recall, your fine field find was a delicious big block, four speed, posi-traction prize. This '69 is the would be equivalent of winning a trip to Afghanistan for the winter and having to share your tent and smoked yak with Rosie O'Donnell.
