Thanks for letting me know Tom - I'll at least go look at this rear and see if I can figure out what it's out of anyway. Do you have any idea what the flange to flange measurement would be on my Gran Sport?
= 26.4" in diameter for 70 series. :grin: I found this handy tire size calculator online: http://ejelta.com/tiresize/index.html?ws15=1&ws14=1 You could use larger tires on for highway cruising to help out the ratio some, and some short fat ones for track use. I wouldn't recommend steeper gears since you do a lot of highway driving. But consider a new torque converter with a higher stall speed....it'll get the car off the line better, and won't affect highway rpm's. A V6 converter will give more stall..... and still has the V/P feature.:TU:
