Just got word from my dad. The manifold leaks have been fixed on the Skylark, looks like it'll cost $300. Both manifolds had to be pulled and resurfaced. Although the main part of the cost was the time it took to get them off, since they had never been removed. Luckily they only broke one bolt, and managed to get it out without trouble. Next up, is a carb rebuild. Apparently the carb that was put on the car, was jetted improperly.
I don't believe so, they may have lifted the engine up a bit to do it though. I know I couldn't get my rachet on the front bolts.
