Do any of the BBB's have a center dump exhaust manifold? The 430 I used for a dummy block when building my 32 roadster had a very nice set of looked to flow fairly well rear dump exhaust manifolds. I'd planned to use them for a while, but the rear dumps conflicted with the 32's floorboards necessitating headers. The upcoming BBB powered project roadster will have Schoenfeld SBC sprint car headers adapted to the Buick engine. This will work for the roadster since the sprint car headers are outside the frame. Looks like it will be an easy way out and look good too. Got pics if anyone's interested. Reason for the Q on center dumps is, the next project down the line - if things work out - will be an F1 pickup with 430 or 455 BBB and T-400 for motive power. All stock and low compression. We need a shop truck that we don't mind hauling stuff in.
