Hello guys, I just bought an eight piece window felt strips from OPGI (the manufacturer is PUI) which is suppose to be identical to the original with the rounded chrome strips. The front exterior felts when on perfectly and the holes lined up exactly with the pre-drilled holes on the car. The problem is with the rear felts for the quarter panels. Not only do the holes not match up, but the felt strips appear not to have the curvature to fit the contur of the sheet metal at the top where they go and are suppose to fit going into the pinchweld molding area. On top of this the felts on both sides appears that they may be too long o No: Has any one else had this problem and if so, what did you do to fix it? I will call PUI tommorrow and see what advice they provide, but I am not holding my breath on this one. Any help from you experienced folks would be greatly appreciated. :beers2:
Ok guys, this will be a short post and considered done. Thanks Dynaflow for responding :beer I spoke with one of the customer service representatives at PUI and she said that there is always a possiblity that the wrong quarter window felts may have gotten put into the wrong box. After I gave her the part number and the part description off of their original box, she asked me where I purchased the felt set from. I told her OPGI. She then asked for my name and a mailing address and then she told me the following:" We will mail you out (to your front door) a complete 8 piece set of window felts for your car free of charge all you need to do is put the old parts that don't fit back inside the box, and send them back to us using the return label that is inside the box. The UPS guy will take the box from you and send the old parts back to us free of any shipping charges to you." The customer service person made the whole experience painless and actually quite pleasant. :beer I have only good things to say about PUI from this point on :3gears: Thanks everybody.
