    1972Mach1 Just some M.M.O.G. guy.....

Anytime we have one in the shop for work, there's only about 5 guys out of 30 that will even get into them. Most won't even get close, they just stand back and look in from a distance. It doesn't bother me (I was a fireman for 7 years and used to do the extrication van runs, so I've seen plenty of things that'd make your stomach turn), but it does to a majority of people.

Amazing finds out in the bush. Last month, my wife and I were hiking in an area I hadn't been to in over 40 years. The hike was good, but the best part of the lake trail was finding this old iron sitting not too far from the trail:

I saw an abandoned '41 Caddy hearse in the backroads near Beaver Springs, PA several years ago.

Judging by the single headlights, and rear fins, it is likely a '55 - '57 Cadillac chassis. GM seemed to go hog wild with quad headlights in '58, believe the single headlights give a much cleaner look.

Never been (intentionally) a first-responder, but was second on the scene to a major fatal crash on 401 in Canada in 1968. I've seen it too. A casket is nothing to me.

On the other hand, I can't stand the '57's fins compared to the '58's. 1957 was a strong year overall but the fins leave me with only the Eldorados to appreciate.
