    Hi Nick,
While the Stage1 convention is for 'mostly complete cars', we do have sponsorships and vendor spots open to show off your excellent work. While the chassis will not get a plate, it is most welcome to be displayed at the show, probably just like Ken's GSX at the GSX reunion. The chassis generated a lot of interest and also displayed the fine restoration work your shop does.

We appreciate any complete cars you can bring - just let us know so we can reserve your plate(s).

..also we can have 'Nick vs. Carl' - round II of the Lobster Claw Championships

    Thanks Herb

Please email me your contact information and if you want the car judged.

    Jude,
I thought I saw you at the GSX event next to the pavilion, but was not sure. Sorry I had no time to come over and talk. How is your car coming, that is going to be a sweet ride when done.

only 8 hrs if you take I-90 to I-77 to I-70 490 miles...

same distance and time it take me to go from Flanders NJ....

It takes me 8 hours (weather permitting) to drive my Buick there the 450 miles from the Philadelphia area.

Do it Nick!...if you still own the convertible next July...

There's no issues driving these fine cars long distances at high RPMs...as long as you have oil pressure and are not overheating.

Try to caravan with others, as there's safety in numbers...although my first BPG Nationals in Salem I dropped a tool box in the trunk (first time since owning the car 7 years prior) and took off at the last minute.

I mistakenly counted some 'Maybes' last time. They have been removed from the current figures.

Here are the number of 'definites'.

There are so many people who have expressed a strong interest and stated 'there's too much time between now and July'. Well, that's the idea - time to plan!

So...get off the fence and make a commitment!

    Totals - 31
    1969 (2)
    1970 (18)
    1971 (4)

One of the 1970 cars was sold, so I eliminated that car from the count.

One of the 1969 cars is for sale or sold already - I'm not sure.

Where are all the 1969 stage1 cars? Or the Century Stage1s?

    Current 'definite' totals - 46
    1969 (2)
    1970 (29)
    1971 (5)
    1972 (5)

    1974 (2)

Here are the people currently committed. If you do not see your initials/state/car listed, and you told either Duane or myself you were attending, please contact us again. Thanks!

I just sold my two 69 Stage 1's in the last month, and I hear one of them is supposed to be at Scottsdale BJ in January, so maybe they will make it there with the new owners?

I am trying to do my part by selling them to others, since I know I wouldn't be able to bring them out if I owned them.
