I have a non-working factory dash tachometer. The tach is cosmetically flawless, but I have no clue how to repair or test it. I am in the process of restoring my dash and I will invest in a NOS tachometer. I don't know what the going rate for a factory tachometer that needs to be rebuilt, but if anyone is interested I will you you some photos. Shiping should not be much more than 5 or 6 bucks. Thanks.

maybe he should send his tachometer to a service repair shop. nos tachometers don't exist, or do they ?

I was thinking the same thing about NOS tachs. Do they even exist?

I hope he doesn't think the new repro ones are NOS.

should I stay away from the repro tachs or think about having my factory tach rebuilt?

O.K. thanks for the advice. Sorry guys, I think I will send my tach out for service and return it to it's original home! I fanyone has advice on the best place to send it, I would appreciate it. I know Year One does it, but pricey.

    >>Year One will just ship the tach out to a rebuilder. A good place to use is:
