I run a short water pump on my 72 because I have no air conditioning or power steering. I recently switched to a big car fan shroud and now my fan sticks way out of the shroud. I was wondering if anyone has run a 1 inch fan spacer with a fan clutch setup? Just want to make sure it's not going to stress the water pump bearings. Thanks in advance!!:TU:
Hey Mike, do you have a spacer already? If not, I might have something you can use. I swapped to a fan clutch setup before heading out to Salem, and have the spacer left over, won't be needing it.
Dave, I already have a 1 inch spacer. Been sitting in my tool box for years. Thanks for the offer though.
