I need help in finding a replacement for my fast idle cam for my 1967 Q-jet on my 400. I still have the original plastic fast idle cam and am unable to find any. I heard from John Osborn that it's possible to use the later metal fast idle cam from a 1970 Q-jet but I wanted to know if anyone here did that swap before. He said the part is available as a service replacement part from Buick but the local dealer just stared at me with this blank look. So if someone has a part number for a replacement fast idle cam and where I can get one I'd really appreciate it. Thank you!
