    Hi,

I've bought several pieces of sheet metal from YearOne; inner fender patch, transmission frame crossmember, couple other things. Each piece has been very good and very complete. For example, with the innner fender patch, I could basically cut off the front 1/3 of my old inner fender, weld this piece on and be good to go.

I assumed all the different vendors are basically selling the same stuff. So when I wanted fender patch kits (lower fender repair, behind the wheel opening), I ordered from OPGI, as theirs were slightly less expensive than YearOne.

The pieces arrived a few days ago and I'm really disappointed. The basic shape and contour is right, but the edges are all completely unfinished. Not only could I not just cut off the bottom of the old fender, weld this new piece on and go, I expect to have to do an awful lot of fabrication. When I take my time, I can weld and grind for good results...but I'm not at all sure I can handle the fabrication required here.

Has anybody bought the repair panels from YearOne and found a more complete piece?

    Thanks,

    Jay
