I was lucky enough to just pick up a 1963 Buick Special with the V-6 engine. I was wondering if the FWD 3.8 V-6 (Dreams of a GN engine :Brow: )of the 1980's have the same motor mount locations as this engine? Thanks

I think....but dont quote me that the odd-fire V-6 and the GN's V-6 have the same motor mount. Maybe an expert can chime in? Goodluck :TU:

I believe that they are the same, but NOT for the FWD. Use a RWD engine.

Thanks for the input. Any comments on the original V-6? Is it a boat anchor?

Also, are the V-8 215 mounts the same as the 300, 340, etc? Incase I go the v-8 route.
