I have purchased a glass hood and I'm not sure if that was a good thing ? looks like theres is a lot of work to get this on . it is a bolt on but they suggest hood pins, the latch area is not reinforced , has any one else used these hoods and what do you suggest

If the latch area is formed correctly you should be able to make metal sections such that the latch can hook into it. Here's my well worn piece.. might be time for a new one :puzzled: Im waiting on a good deal on a steel hood, and when that time comes, the glass one comes off.

Another point is try to include the safety latch mechanism so if the primary latch fails the hood doesn't fly open. Peace, Mike D.

Also, change your hinge springs to glass hood springs.

does hood have the vents up by the windshield ? i purchased a fiberglass hood years ago and changed my mind because my car has ac and the vents are important for air intake, and my body man pointed out the major hours of prep work for a decent finished product kevin:ball:
