I ran my VFN fiberglass hood on the street as a daily driver for a while. The only bad thing I can say about the hood is the latch catch area. It probably should be reinforced if you plan to drive your car alot. What really kills the hood is the opening and closing it because the latch slowly wears the fiberglass catch area. metal on fiberglass is not a good match. Just my .10

VFN Fiberglass has the "best" selection, and out of the rest, the best QUALITY!:Smarty:

Do NOT buy US Body Source parts, they don't even LOOK like they'll fit on a car. I've seen their GS Hoods, and what a "hack job" that looks like!:Dou::rolleyes:

Is US Body still producing crap? I thought some one said they had improved thier stuff wich is why I gave the link. I know first hand of their old stuff. I have thier GS hood on my 70 and it is total crap. I only gave $40 for it. Had I bought from them, it would have went back the next day.

Put it this way, Steve, I just passed on a GS Hood from US Body, that I would NOT have taken, even if it would have been FREE!
The Scoops for the Ram Air were NOT EVEN CLOSE to being able to mount the Hood Scoop Grilles or Seal Plates onto!

I am SERIOUS! Even if it was FREE, I would have LEFT IT THERE!:Smarty:

    Oh, I DID!:TU:
