There is quite a selection out there(as you probably already know), heck you could even go with a 1000 HP 350 SBB if you wanted to. :TU: :bglasses:
im a big block guy ,but my son wants a twin turbo small block, :Brow: but right now i have a pump gas 604 that should put it into the 9,s :3gears: bob
Thats awesome! Whats the car being built for? Thats one of the looks I want to go for, (big slicks on steel wheels), but what really peaks my interest is that under car reenforcement. I wanted to do some of that to my car (slightly weak frame - repairable, but I'd like to beef it while its on a rack).
not being built for anything specific, but while im building might as well make it a saleble thing,it will fit numerous classes,i.e.radial tire, ,stock suspended and it will be a 25-5 " street car" bring yours down well set it up  bob
hah! I didnt even notice you were in NY. How much to weld in a patch on a frame and do some simpler bracing? :Brow:
ITs ok, I'd never expect you to give me a quote over the internet without seeing it, I was just joking
Buick motor thats funny,i couldnt even afford to say 604 buick motor  i was going to do a Buick engine but the guy in texas wanted 18,+++. for a 572, :jd: sorry for that much ill put a chevy in[ ] and have lots of change. :3gears: bob let the flame begin :Brow:
No flames here Bob! I say take YOUR car and put what YOU want in it! Im all for a person that does it his own way. Have a Ford 9'' waiting to go into mine. Wanna know why? Cause I can............. :Brow: Looking Good and keep thats pictures rolling!
I agree! More photos! I dont care what goes in it since it seems its going to be an all out drag car... I'm a fan of big power in those cars, and since cost is of a concern and you've already got that 604, who can blame you? I know if I had a running engine and was building a race car, on my budget, I'd put the running engine in it and go 16's if I had to, just to drive it.
its not an all out drag car it is a real street car, with horn, lights, backup lights, wipers, and it will get one of those small heaters,as i do drive my cars when its cold,it even has a key buzzer,i just build my cars for addvertizing  the engne is a 9.5-1 comp 604 bbc,its in one of my other cars [70 monte] which also has power windows, bench seat and anything else a streetcar has, but is about 4-500lbs heavier than the buick, and the monte,s been 124mph already shifting at 5600,and trappin 5800,[3.73,s in it] and actually after those picts were taken i made the side bar,s swing bars, :beer :Brow: bob
