There were a few people that asked for the pic... The year, the plant code and the last 6 digits of the VIN were found stamped on the firewall under the blower motor case (9K108XXX). I smudged out a few of the numbers, but you get the idea...
Does anyone have a pic of a '70 Flint car? I haven't seen one yet. It seems not all cars have this stamp. Is it year or plant specific? o No:
I've disassembled several 68-72 GS and Skylark cars and have come across a few that don't have the body stamped in this location. Build plant didn't seem to make a differance. Is there anywhere else these numbers show up?
