first dynos on bulldog headed pump gas engine

    If your going to a 494 you have to use a SBC small journal rod size "7.135 with a 2" pin",BBC has a 2.200 pin. That adds more to the cost and I know I wouldn't be comfortable with a cast crank with a 2" rod journal. If there is a good way to break a crankshaft this would be it.

    These last results were with a 1000 demon carb and playing around with the timing some. The earlier results were with 30 degress of timing, now we are running 34 degrees.
    Probably the last thing I will do on this one is switch to the shorty headers, since that is what will be on it in the car. Jim Burek
