I got someone else's notes off here :Smarty: ---my first attempt with yellow/blue springs+1 OE weight+1 #2 weight gave me 1-2@4000 2-3@4500. How do you know WHICH side is giving which shift? First, is your kickdown hooked up and working? Second, only change the weights, one at a time. Lighter weights will up the shift points, side doesn't matter. Change one weight at a time, leave the stock springs. When you get the shift points to where you want them, the springs will help you move the 1-2, and 2-3 shift points closer or further apart, they fine tune things.
