Any thoughts or guides on flush mounting front and rear windows on a '69 skylark?? I'd like to do it for a cleaner, smoother look. Any thoughts?

You won't gain anything except problems. The glass has to sit on the channel provided by the factory. Also, there is no way to fill the gap between the edge of the glass and the metal.

You would have to make the opening smaller. That and raise the pinchweld it sits on. Then you would need to add a "frit" on the edge of the glass, that flat black look that will hide the edge of the glass from being seen thru it.

It is not an easy project but very possible.

We talked about this over on Hotrodders.com a while ago and there were some very interesting things learned about the "frit" which in my mind would be the hardest part. Putting something on the glass that will hold onto it good enough to urethane to.

The channel thing is simple enough, make a steped piece of metal and using a shrinker and stretcher shape it to the window opening and weld it in place. Then use a moulding that sticks into the gap between the glass and the body like an early Chevy S10.
